Overview
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and PostHog to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how visitors interact with our site and improve the experience over time. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name or email address through our analytics.
What we collect
We use GA4 and PostHog to automatically collect the following:
- Device type, browser, operating system, and screen resolution
- Country and city (derived from your IP address; your IP itself is not stored)
- Traffic source (e.g. how you arrived at our site)
- Pages visited, session duration, and scroll depth
We also track the following behavioral events to understand how visitors use our site:
- Button and navigation link clicks
- Which sections of the page are viewed and for how long
- Scroll milestones (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Form interactions — field focus and validation errors only; no form field values are ever captured
- Form submission metadata (character count, time spent typing) — the content of any message you write is never sent to our analytics
- Core Web Vitals (page load speed, interactivity, layout stability) — technical performance metrics only
Session recordings
We use PostHog to record anonymous session replays, which show how visitors navigate our site (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls). These recordings help us identify usability issues and improve the user experience. Name and email input fields are masked in all recordings — their contents are never visible to us. Session recordings do not capture passwords or sensitive information.
What we do not collect
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- The content of any message or text you type into our forms
- Any financial or sensitive personal information
Cookies & consent
This site uses analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) and PostHog (ph_*). These cookies are used to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. They do not contain personally identifiable information.
When you first visit our site, a consent banner will ask you to accept or decline analytics cookies:
- Accept: GA4 and PostHog are fully enabled, including session recordings and all event tracking.
- Decline: No analytics cookies are set. GA4 runs in a limited cookieless mode that provides only modeled aggregate data. PostHog does not load at all.
Your choice is saved in your browser and the banner will not reappear. You can reset your preference by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
You can also opt out of analytics tracking by:
- Using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Adjusting your browser's cookie settings to block third-party cookies
Third-party services
We use the following analytics services:
- Google Analytics 4, operated by Google LLC. Data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- PostHog, operated by PostHog Inc. (US Cloud). Data is processed in accordance with PostHog's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. PostHog session recordings and event data are retained according to PostHog's default retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your browser. To make such a request, contact us at privacy@bibotech.ca.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
